Africa

Well Africa so far has been a wonderful Experince. The joy of all the people we have been able to bless has just been so amazing to see. The Joy on their faces as we hand out Clothes and Food you can not explain how much it means to them.

I had the great priviledge of talking with Phil Dooley so that was an experience in itself. Had a good chat with him just about life. He is a great guy. Was good to be able to talk with someone who reminded me of my mates back home.

As i sat in one of the meetings at the Pastors Conference here in Beira. I started to just think how different our thoughts of life are in Australia compared to here in Africa. We say to each other and complain how the price of fuel is ridiculous, yet the price of a small bun here is more than a weeks wage.

The times of Praise and Worship here are very different, its a completely different culture. there is not a moment where you can stand still. there praise habits are so infectious. When they start to dance and move. You gota do the same. even when you try the hardest not to you just cant stop dancing in our kings presence.

They are just so passionate in everything, They dont look for the bad in things, they look for the good.

I will write more later when i gather my thoughts, looking at this is probaly just a complete muddle of information.

But i must go now. I am truly missing home now. I think only a few days can be spent in Beira, the devestation is just to difficult to constantly look at. My bedroom window overlooks a big field. It is pretty much the Public toilet the Market place and the Central hub. Its like a thursday night up the main street but every night of the week, and 24-7. there is no quiet here. No curfews nothing.



Am off to more villages tomorrow, as the conference is over.
